How does it work?
Before using the internet you have to select and activate a data package. Each data packet has a specific validity period (in days), data volume (MB), the price, and is available in certain countries.
Detailed information about all data packages is here available.
How to use a data package
In order to activate Internet-package please dial on your phone: *146*941*Package Nr#, and follow up by pressing call key;
In order to check the status of the service please dial on your phone: *146*942*Package Nr#, and follow up by pressing call key.
It does not matter where you will activate the data package, but please note, that after activating the data package, packet activation costs will be calculated from your balance and will start the period of validity.
In case, if you do not activate a data package, the tariff will be calculated by MB from your credit. In case if you activate a data package in the country where the data package is not available and you will use the internet, the rate per MB will also be calculated from your balance. The tariff per MB can be found here.
You can buy and activate multiple data package at the same time, but please note that you can´t activate two exactly the same data packages at the same time.
For example, say you’re going to China and Australia. You might choose to activate a 3 GB data package for China and some Zone 1 data package for Australia.
You can activate the data packages at the same time. The system will automatically use your China data package when you arrive in China, and your Zone 1 data package when you arrive in Australia.
For example: You can´t activate two Zone 1 – 1Gb data packages at the same time. You can activate Zone 1 – 1GB and Zone 1 – 2GB at the same time or Zone 1 – 1 GB and Europe 5G at the same time (but not two exactly the same data packages).
Please keep in mind the validity times of data packages. The data package validity time starts ‘ticking’ from the day you activate the data package.
If you use multiple data packages at the same time, please keep in mind that the data packages have priority levels. The priority level decides which data package will be used first, and which one next.
The data plan priority levels are as follows:
China 3GB Data package
Special Data packages – 1GB or 5GB (from smallest to biggest)
Data Package for Europe
Zone 1 data package(from smallest to biggest)
Zone 2 data package (from smallest to biggest)
Zone 3 data package (from smallest to biggest)
Europe Plus data package
For example: You have bought 500 MB Zone 1 data package for USA and 500 MB Zone 2 data package for Canada. You can activate both data packages at the same time.
The system will automatically use Zone 1 data package in the USA and Zone 2 in Canada. Also, if you travel back from Canada to the USA and you still have some data left in Zone A data package, the system will automatically start to use it once you arrive back in the USA.
